Mathematics is the language of science and technology, and it provides methods for analyzing and solving problems. Mathematics also plays a role in business, the arts, and the social sciences. Students can combine Mathematics with another major or minor, including Computer Science, Physics, Biology, Geology or Economics, to gain a broader range of skills. Mathematical training may lead to co-ops, internships and careers in applied research, mathematical research, teaching, or industry.
