Northeastern’s partnership with Careershift has recently come to an end. However, there are still hundreds of alternative resources on the career hub that can advance your job search and perform similar functions. Careershift is well known for how they aggregate millions of active listings from job boards, similar to Indeed or Handshake. However, it separates itself by finding opportunities that are never published on public job boards. This is where the career hub can help, with industry-specific job boards that have postings not found easily on the largest website.
To narrow down your search to only include job boards, select the “Explore all Resources” tab on the front page of the website, then click on “See more Filters.” Underneath the “Resource Categories” section click on “Internship & Job Boards” and press “Apply Filters and Reload” at the bottom. This will confine the number of resources to a manageable amount to scroll through and will find the specific websites that Northeastern partners with.
