AI for Advanced Job Support Series – 6: Planning Interviews Around Your Professional Identity

Apr 6 • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

You’re getting interviews, but you’re not getting jobs. Or you’re dreading interviewsbecause there are too many gaps or job changes and you don’t know how to explain why your skills matter even though they aren’t a perfect fit. You practice answering questions, and maybe even know the STAR method, but something just isn’t connecting.
Join this workshop to prepare for interviews by anchoring your entire strategy around how you want to be seen by others, without memorizing scripts. We’ll cover how to handle questions about your “messy” background and how to strategically talk about what you want. You’ll walk away knowing how to think about questions as they relate to you, your identity, and what interviewers are actually looking for.

This is the sixth workshop in the AI for Advanced Job Support Series. This series teaches you to build a complete job search approach using AI as a strategic thinking partner rather than just something that makes what you tell it to. You’ll learn the Four Pillars framework and see different ways to apply it ethically and effectively within your career. Each workshop builds on the Career Bio created in the first workshop of this series, Finding Your Professional Identity, using the Career Bio as a foundation to develop targeted strategies, application materials, and interview approaches. Workshops can be taken in any order, but they’re designed to be taken sequentially.
If you completed Workshop 1, your Career Bio will guide this entire process and make it more customized to your unique background. If not, you can still participate— but Finding Your Professional Identity runs every two weeks and teaches the foundational skills that make this and other workshops more efficient and personalized. Check the calendar for upcoming sessions.
