Sammy Hejazi will explain how to put your best foot forward, network effectively and leverage your experinece to make important and informative connections.

· Using “”Perceived Similarities”” to connect with people on an emotional level – even if you are new to U.S. culture
· How to prepare for any networking activity (career event, emails/linkedin, etc.)
· Importance of self-awareness and practical next steps you can take to succeed in establishing fruitful connections

Sammy has 12+ years of experience working in several roles across business functions, both in the U.S. and Internationally. He graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Penn State, where he was an International student, and has an MBA from INSEAD. As a former international student himself, Sammy has successfully adapted to American work culture and is passionate about supporting International co-workers and students in their quest to develop successful careers outside their home countries. He currently works at Wayfair (Boston HQ) developing Vertical market strategy in their B2B division.
