Stainless Steel Coatings, Inc. (SSC) has an opening for a Chemistry Co-Op student to join our entrepreneurial, rapidly growing team. SSC is the manufacture of STEEL-IT® Brand anti-corrosion coatings which utilize a unique 316L stainless steel leafing pigment to create a protective barrier coating. The main responsibility will be to conduct Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) studies to probe the barrier properties and corrosion resistance of both STEEL-IT® coatings and competitive coatings. This is an ideal opportunity for a scientist interested in corrosion science, structure-property relationships, and coatings technology.
