Why do you trust the infrastructure around you? This simple question posed by Gecko Robotics’ CEO and Co-Founder Jake Loosararian sparked a revolution in infrastructure inspection and monitoring technology.
Traditional manual inspection methods left major gaps in safety, efficiency, and accuracy—ultimately compromising the integrity of critical assets that keep the world powered and running. In response, Jake built the world’s first wall climbing ultrasonic testing robot in 2012. This state-of-the-art technology took inspections to the next level with unparalleled coverage, productivity, and data collection.
The Gecko Robotics platform continued to rapidly expand with advancements in ultrasonic technologies and additional inspection solutions to broaden capabilities across new industry verticals. Additionally, new software solutions were introduced to translate the robust inspection data into actionable data insights.
Now, over a decade later, Gecko Robotics is a proven industry partner, providing full-stack robotic inspection and software modeling technology for the world’s leading organizations in power, oil and gas, manufacturing, defense, and more.
Gecko’s mission is to protect critical infrastructure and give form to tomorrow’s. We are revolutionizing the way that NDT (non-destructive testing) is undertaken in industrial spaces, particularly the power, pulp & paper, chemical, government, and oil & gas industries, using cool data collecting wall climbing robots to do it.
At Gecko, we look to hire mission-driven, innovative team members who are excited to jump into work. We have a very collaborative office environment and are very hands-on in problem solving!
We are looking to add members to our Software team in Boston as interns this summer. We also have office locations in Pittsburgh, PA; New York, NY; and Austin, TX.
Next year we will also be hiring for both full-time post graduation and intern positions for teams including: Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Software. Join us!
