This workshop is designed for international students in D’Amore-McKim who are currently searching for a Spring 2025 co-op. You can be at any point in your co-op search (or acceptance) to attend.
In this session we will cover:
Resumes and effective interviewing strategies
Answering authorization status questions
Leveraging your strengths in the application and interview process
Connecting with others on and off campus
Understanding sponsorship and its impact on your search
The session will include a worksheet and a chance to take notes. Questions are encouraged. By the end of the session, we hope you feel more confident in your search, more equipped with search strategies, and are able to recognize the unique value you bring to employers.
This will be hosted by a DMSB Co-op Team Counselor and a DMSB Peer Mentor who has experience searching for co-op as an international student. We look forward to working with you!
