Join us for this industry event, focused on Project Management. Hear from alumni and industry professionals in Project Management and learn how you can position yourself to be competitive for a career in this field. This is not a job fair, but rather an industry event. Make connections. Ask questions and receive advice.
For all graduate students (U.S. and international) who are interested in working in Project Management. Interested in making some great contacts with NU Alumni and professionals? This informational networking event features NU Alums and professionals from Project Management, discussing career paths and how to become positioned for opportunities in the field and how you can prepare for a career or job search. Although this is an educational event, not a job fair, feel free to bring your resume.
After hearing from a panel representing alumni/professionals in the field, you'll choose an organization to meet with for a 20 minute question and answer session and do this for a total of 3 sessions. Learn about the backgrounds of employer participants, how they progressed to their position and got to where they are today, and why they work with their organization, plus obtain advice on topics of interest to you. Participants will rotate tables every 20 minutes, so you can meet three different organizations for a total of 3 sessions. Come to all or part of this program- if you can't make it for the full time you're welcome to come and go as you please. We will post the organizations in advance who will be participating.
This program connects to the SAIL Personal and Professional Effectiveness using strategic thinking and networking skills, and communication skills and the SAIL domain Global Mindset using Intercultural Competency skills,.
