Fund for the Public Interest Information/Interview Session

Feb 12 • 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Fund for the Public Interest is a national nonprofit organization that runs campaigns for leading environmental and public interest organizations. Launched in 1982, The Fund finds ways to engage people on pressing problems and turns that support into solutions. Now we run the nation’s largest and most effective canvassing and telephone membership operation. Our canvassers talk to people one-on-one and through those interactions help make thousands, sometimes millions of people’s voices heard, through petitions, emails, small donations and meetings. That’s people power, and that’s what it takes to make a difference for the environment, for our democracy, and more.
Students will have the opportunity to attend an information followed by individual interviews for roles that would start when their semester ends or as soon as they would like. The information session would begin at 3pm and interviews would follow immediately until 5pm.
