DESCRIPTION:Dear Husky\, \nGlobal work opportunities are a valued part of the student experience at Northeastern. One may ask where to start their global journey. \nConsider the following:\n\nAre you interested in a free short-term virtual global work badge program? \nDo you want to know what global work experiences are available to you at NU? \nDo you enjoy cross-cultural professional activities in partnership with fellow students while exploring global markets? \nDo you want to learn more about your work cultural identity and the impact of your work globally? \n\nAbout GWC 2023:\nThe GWC 2023 badge is a summer program offered by Global Co-op Council and Employer Engagement and Career Design. The initiative aims to expose Huskies to various global work opportunities early in their college careers and support students in cultivating a global mindset during their time at Northeastern. \nThrough introductions to some of our hand-picked global employers\, universities and agency partners from around the world\, students will interact\, learn and engage in meaningful conversations about global challenges and differences in professional cultures around the world. \nThis program will allow you to: \n \n Build your network with some of our global co-op partners\nGet introduced to the global work experiences available at Northeastern \nUnderstand the impact on local communities when living and working abroad \n Learn how to enhance your resume and share the value of global work experience when interviewing \nEarn a badge showing global diversity\, innovation\, teamwork\, cultural humility and self-directed learning skills \n \nSchedule:\nThe program will run from Tuesday\, May 16th (orientation) to June 9th with sessions on Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The course will be all online with a combination of 12 live sessions (10-11:30 AM EST)\, pre-recorded videos and at home activities. \nTo be considered for this program please submit your application by April 30th. \nQueries about this program?
