Honeybee Robotics is a company that specializes in the development of novel spacecraft mechanisms for on-orbit and planetary exploration applications. Our California office focuses on bespoke integrated electromechanical systems for sample acquisition, manipulation, and delivery that will operate in the most extreme environments around the solar system – our current flight projects will be on the surface of Mars, the Moon, Phobos (a Martian moon), and Titan (a moon of Saturn) within the next decade. Our Colorado office specializes in production of a catalog of satellite subsystems including cryogenic motors, slip rings, solar array drive assemblies, twist capsules, and motor control avionics for dozens of aerospace customers around the world.
We have open mechanical, electrical, and software internships and full-time positions at both offices (in Altadena, CA and Longmont, CO), and we also are offering both spring and fall co-ops at our California office. Candidates who are interested in being involved in multiple steps of the design process (design, build, test, iterate) and getting hands-on experience in a fast paced R&D environment will be a great fit for Honeybee’s culture, and we look forward to telling you more about us!
