Husky Trek (virtual) to Manna Project International (MPI), Ecuador

Mar 31 • 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Are you a student interested in exploring what you can do in a career, both related to and even beyond your major? Do you want to see how your major or degree can lead to a satisfying and successful career within an organization of interest?
Join us as we take a peek inside Manna Project International (MPI) (virtual) to learn more about the work of different areas within the organization. Husky Treks are not hiring events; instead, this is an opportunity to connect, network and explore different career paths. The Husky Trek to Manna Project International (MPI) is taking place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 12:00 noon– 1:30 p.m. EST.

Take advantage of the Husky Treks program and engage in this opportunity, where you will learn more about MPI through hearing from professionals within the organization and their roles, learn more about the opportunities and challenges, and engage in an experiential activity around creating and expanding a maternal health program MPI developed.

Agenda for this virtual trek:

Learn about what MPI looks for in co-ops and interns, and what you can do to position yourself for full-time roles in this field after graduation

Hear from a panel of employees at MPI including:
Nidhi Prakash, Co-op Alumni
Diana Clark, Program Director
Tony Banegas, Country Director
Abby Pauley, Institutional Relations + Communications Manager.

Ask questions, hear about their career journeys, opportunities and challenges, projects they’ve worked on in their work

Participate in an experiential activity to make a difference through this trek by providing ideas and input related to their new maternal health program.

If you’re interested in international work, public health, social justice, economic development, sociology, or other areas this trek will be of interest! It’s not about majors but about interests and exploring your possible career path!

How is this valuable? You’ll learn what you can’t learn by reading a co-op/internship/full-time job posting or going on-line. You’ll also leave with language you can put on your resume under Education, Experiential Learning, or Professional Development, a description for your LinkedIn, and a better sense of whether you can see yourself at MPI!
