Are you a student interested in exploring what you can do in a career, both related to and even beyond your degree? Do you want to see how your major or degree can lead to a satisfying and successful career within an organization of interest? Join us as we take a peek inside Manna Project International (MPI) (virtual) to learn more about the work of different areas within MPI. The Husky Trek to Manna Project International (MPI) is taking place on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 12:00 noon– 1:30 p.m. EST (Virtual). Meet the Country Director, Program Director, Communications Manager, and a former Co-op. Learn about these career areas and receive tips and advice. Take advantage of the Husky Treks program and engage in this opportunity, where you will learn more about MPI through hearing from professionals within the organization and their roles, learn more about the opportunities and challenges, and engage in an experiential activity around creating and expanding a maternal health program MPI developed.

(It’s fine to leave a few minutes early if you have a 1:30 class)
Agenda for this virtual trek:
Learn about what MPI looks for in co-ops and interns, and what you can do to position yourself for full-time roles in this field after graduation
Hear from a panel at MPI including:
Diana Clark, Program Director
Tony Banegas, Country Director
Nidhi Prakash, Former Co-op
Abby Pauley, Institutional Relations + Communications Manager.
Hear what you can do to get positioned for international work in the field while in your program
Ask questions, hear about their career journeys, opportunities and challenges, projects they’ve worked on in their work
Participate in an experiential activity to make a difference through this trek by providing ideas and input related to their new maternal health program. Provide recommendations after learning from them about a specific maternal health project they offer.
Learn about what’s coming up on their roadmap for expanding their program and provide recommendations.
It’s not about majors but about interests and exploring your possible career path! Husky Treks are not hiring events; instead, this is an opportunity to connect, network and explore different career paths.
How is this valuable? You’ll learn what you can’t learn by reading a co-op/internship/full-time job posting or going on-line. You’ll also receive info after about language you can put on your resume under Education, Experiential Learning, or Professional Development and a better sense of whether you can see yourself at MPI!
Virtual Meeting Instructions: Please sign in with your Northeastern email so we’ll have attendance and the ability to email you resources after the Husky Trek.
