Are you considering co-oping outside of MA or the United States? Hear from fellow Khoury students about their experiences co-oping beyond Boston (including global co-ops!). Current co-op seeking students will hear from panelists about their out-of-region and global co-op experience and preparation process, including their journey traveling out of MA (including anxieties/fears/triumphs/lessons learned/etc.), handling the logistics of moving there (such as housing, transportation, etc.), what they did to acclimate themselves in a new state or country, etc.
Topics and questions answered will include:
What resources did you use to find your co-op, housing arrangements, or transportation once you arrived there?
What strategies did you use to acclimate yourself to your new city/state/country?
Have you been able to connect with other Huskies in your area (if so, how did you get in touch with them?)
What has been the most difficult thing about having an out-of-region or global co-op?
What has been the best thing about having an out-of-region or global co-op?
What have you learned (about yourself, on co-op, about moving, etc.)?
What’s one piece of advice you have for someone considering or definitely moving outside of MA or the US for co-op?
Audience Q & A: Ask co-op coordinators and former co-ops’ questions!
