Massachusetts Education Recruiting Consortium (MERC) 2026 Career Fair: Meet 100+ Employers Hiring Education Professionals

Apr 23 • 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Finding roles in education can be competitive, especially for counselors, administrators, social workers, teacher candidates, speech-language pathologists, and anyone else looking in this space. Stand out by joining the MERC Education Career Fair to find over 100 employers representing a range of public, charter, private non-profits, community agencies, and independent and international school systems.
Employers show up because they want to meet enthusiastic people like you. Instead of being just another resume and cover letter in a database, this is your opportunity to connect in person. Many employers are offering on-site interviews just after the career fair. This gives you the chance to move beyond the job description to learn more about what matters to you, like organizational culture and day-to-day expectations, and showing off your personality to make a memorable impact.
Attendees who will benefit most are graduating seniors, graduate students, and alumni. Preparation for this events is key. Research employers of interest, know licensure/certification requirements for states you’re interested in ahead of time (through Dept of Education sites- not always needed to take the certification tests before MERC, just to know the requirements), prepare questions, and be ready to talk about your interests.
Please note this is an in person Career Fair.
