Lincoln International’s Valuations & Opinions Group is seeking interns for our upcoming Summer 2023 VOG Internship program.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesLincoln International is seeking Analyst Interns to join our rapidly growing Valuations & Opinions Group (VOG) in our Chicago & New York offices. Successful candidates have strong cognitive and interpersonal abilities, want to develop their professional and personal skills and are motivated by the prospect of building a leading valuations practice.The VOG Analyst Intern position at Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment and will provide you with many experiences to build your analytical skills and overall finance & accounting acumen, including but not limited to:
• Preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses• Writing valuation reports and presentations• Coordinating recurring valuation projects with team members across multiple geographies• Interacting with clients and preparing deliverables• Maintaining proprietary valuation databases• Tracking the capital markets and analyzing any changes within the markets• Preparing marketing materials for meetings with potential clients• Supporting the senior members of the Valuations & Opinions Group
QualificationsThe Analyst position at Lincoln International is extremely challenging, offers an excellent learning experience and provides a solid foundation upon which an individual can build a future business career. Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
• Successful Analyst Interns are assertive and self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and are exceptionally detail-oriented• Strong writing, verbal communication and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)• Working towards a degree in finance and/or accounting, and have successfully completed significant coursework in these areas• Have completed at least 2 full years of undergraduate education
o Candidates graduating in 2024 are strongly preferred
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 is required
