Ellen Spertus is one of Khoury’s newest teaching professors, having formerly taught at Mills College. She has worked as a software engineer and research scientist at Microsoft, Mozilla, and Google, where she gave over a hundred technical interviews. Last summer, she taught CodePath’s Advanced Technical Interview course and is eager to share what she learned with students. Ellen has led or been a core contributor to numerous open source projects, including App Inventor, Blockly, and the Hour of Code. She earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in CS from MIT.
