Thriving and Surviving: Making a Living in the Arts

Nov 17 • 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Two goals that students often have are to identify a career they love and earn a good salary. And sometimes it might feel as though they are mutually exclusive, especially if you’re considering a career in a creative field. That doesn’t have to be the case. Join us virtually for Thriving and Surviving: Making a Living in the Arts to hear from CAMD alumni and other professionals about their experiences with work and finances post-graduation and from Thrive about what financial literacy resources are available to you on campus.

What you learn from the panel will help you reframe that belief and realize that you can be creative and earn a living.

Our panelist include:

Mollie Davis, NU B.A. Fine/Studio Arts 2017, Senior Animator at Planet Nutshell, Inc.
Anthony Gentles, NU B.F.A., Digital Art (Animation) 2014, Director of Editing & Animation at Beatt Productions

Aaron Goldberg, Director of Athletic Bands, Lecturer in Music, Boston University, College of Fine Arts
