Husky Treks 2.0 Virtual Experience
Featuring: Square Roots
Did you know that there are climate-controlled, hydroponic container farms located in a parking lot in Brooklyn, NY? Join Square Roots – an urban farming start-up – and their engineering team for a behind-the-scenes look at their daily operations as they work on cutting edge urban farming technology. Learn how their small team of engineers creates tools and software to optimize in-farm user experiences, increase yield and quality, and decrease labor so that Square Roots can grow high-quality, hyper-local food while owning the distribution from seed-to-sales. In this interactive session you will have the opportunity to learn about their next-gen farming solutions, find out about co-op possibilities, and ask a team of experts questions about their experiences and career paths.
Preference will be given to first year students but is open to all. Limit is 100, so reserve your spot today.
You MUST register in NU Careers to receive the link to join the conversation. You will receive the link the day before the program. If you would rather participate with others, please join us in room G 12 Stearns Center during this time. Feel free to bring your lunch.
