What You’ll Do
- Partner with engineers and field technicians on a variety of electrical testing and analysis projects
- Analyze electrical test data and help turn it into clear, professional reports for clients
- Generate detailed reports documenting testing procedures, results, and recommendations
- Conduct power quality and load studies to improve system performance
- Assist with short-circuit and coordination studies to enhance system safety and reliability
- Support arc flash modeling to help create safer work environments
- Identify trends in electrical data and recommend improvements
- Help prepare acceptance and maintenance testing reports to ensure compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical one-line diagrams
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and terminology
- Clear communication skills—you can explain technical concepts without overcomplicating them
- Self-starter who can work independently but also thrives on a team
- Comfortable working with PDF tools like Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat
- Organized and detail-oriented with solid time management skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with SKM Power Tools or similar software
- Exposure to FLIR or thermographic imaging tools
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes and electrical testing equipment
- Experience using multimeters in practical settings
- Knowledge of NETA testing standards
