We are looking for curious problem solvers in our Boston office interested in developing structural engineering designs for a wide range of building projects. We work on new and existing structures that provide everything from research facilities, to affordable housing. We are a team focused firm with opportunities for collaboration and mentorship. We encourage all of our engineering staff to become licensed engineers, supporting continuing education, professional society memberships, and experience with all aspects of project development from initial design to construction administration.
Team members perform the following types of tasks:
Preliminary analysis of structure systems
Detailed analytical modeling
BIM modeling (REVIT)
Coordination with architects
Report writing
Construction Administration including site visits, review of submittals, problem solving for unexpected conditions
Qualifications:
BS degree in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferred)
0 to 5 years of structural engineering design experience
Experience with steel, concrete, and timber design
Experience with REVIT and AutoCAD
Strong communications skills
Highly motivated
Field experience a plus
