Are you a student interested in exploring what you can do in a career, both related to and even beyond your major? Do you want to see how your major can lead to a satisfying and successful career within an organization of interest? Take advantage of the Husky Treks program and engage in this opportunity, where you will tour an organization to explore your possible career path! Join us as we take a peek inside Wayfair (in-person in Boston) to learn more about the work of different departments within the organization. Husky Treks are not hiring events; instead, this is an opportunity to connect, network and explore different career paths. The Husky Trek to Wayfair is taking place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EST. Wayfair will be sharing what they look for in co-op/internship/full-time candidates from any major or college. They are also hosting an alumni panel, among other features of this trek. Light snacks will be provided!Applications for this Trek are currently open with rolling admission. Apply HERE to be considered for this Trek. By applying, you are not guaranteed a spot. You must be able to attend the entire trek on Thursday, March 5, 2026 and attend a required Husky Trek orientation in order to be accepted and attend. Applicants will be notified on a rolling basis.
How is this valuable? You’ll learn what you can’t learn on-line or by reading a co-op/internship/full-time job posting. You’ll also leave with language you can put on your resume under Education, Experiential Learning, or Professional Development, a description for your LinkedIn, and a better sense of whether you can see yourself at Wayfair!
To attend this Husky Trek, you must first attend a required virtual Husky Trek Orientation on Thursday, February 26 at 1:00-1:30 pm or 6:30-7:00 pm. (Please let me know if you can’t attend any of the orientation options to schedule at a different time). A Zoom link will be shared with you if selected for this opportunity. The details of the Trek will only be sent to you after you attend the Orientation. You must attend an orientation to be able to participate in this Husky Trek.
