You’ve done the interviews, and now you have an offer—or you’re waiting to hear back from your top choice while another company wants an answer tomorrow. This is where most advice stops, but it’s where your actual decisions begin.
This workshop gives you the language and framework to handle the 48 hours after “”We’d like to extend you an offer.”” You’ll learn how to respond without accidentally accepting on the spot, what information to request so you can actually compare offers (hint: two $70K jobs are rarely the same), and how to research what you’re worth so you’re negotiating from data, not guesswork. We’ll cover the specific phrases that let you negotiate without sounding aggressive or risking the offer, how to approach your first-choice employer when you need a faster decision and why accepting verbally and then backing out later damages your reputation before your career even starts. You’ll leave with scripts for the conversations you’ll have this spring—and the confidence to use them.
