AmeriCorps Service Year with the GO Fellowship

Apr 10 • 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The GO Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with the renowned AmeriCorps program. The mission of the GO Foundation is to provide Middle and High School students with access to a quality education through high-dosage tutoring and small-group instruction. At the GO Foundation, we envision an America where every child has the support of a tutor to enable them to realize their full human potential. We deploy individuals to serve as GO AmeriCorps Tutor & Mentor Fellows in Charter and Public Schools located in underserved communities where they would help out in the areas of Math and English Language Arts. We are looking to connect with students in Boston to serve as Fellows at the Match School in Boston.

Some of the benefits of serving as a GO AmeriCorps Tutor & Mentor include:

Bi-weekly Americorps living allowance/stipend ($19,400)

Subsidized Housing (housing is almost cost-free for our Fellows)

Segal Education Award ($7395)

Student Loan Forbearance

Relocation Assistance

Food and Health benefits

Weekly Professional Development

Pre-Service Training

Mental Health support via Talkspace

Access to a career and professional mentor

Americorps Alumni Benefits – Preferred Employment Opportunities & Financial Assistance from select Universities
