Brief Description of Role & Responsibility
We are looking for a Co-OP interested in the thorny intersections between historical buildings and modern requirements. Someone who is interested in complex technical and design challenges on some of the most prominent buildings in DC. A self-directed student who is interested in not just the how but the why of architecture will have a lot to learn at architrave. https://www.architravepc.com/
Co-ops at architrave will get a range of exposure on projects and roles in a small dynamic firm.
Basic drafting tasks Revit and Autocad Critical thinking and design evaluationDesigning and assembling project proposalsSite survey and existing conditions documentationReport editingResearch on history, products, and procedures (also likely on the history of products and procedures)Working on and developing direction for our in-house research agenda
