We are recruiting Co-Op positions as well as employment opportunities. The position is in the Clinical Laboratory at Tufts Medical Center. We’re a level 1 Trauma Center situated in the heart of Boston (Chinatown/Theater District). We are looking for 3-4 candidates from Northeastern to start their Co-op in January 2023, as well as employees looking to work in the lab. We have our co-ops work in two areas, the firs is our clinical lab support area. We are the hub of the lab. Every specimen comes through us first. You would be accessioning specimens, troubleshooting order/specimen issues, answering phones, and helping where its needed. We also have you work in one of our blood draw stations to have face to face patient contact. The time spent there is split between all co-ops. We also offer an education component for our students. When available, we will schedule time in Anatomical Pathology to view autopsies and brain cuttings. We also have the students round each lab section to learn about laboratory science.
