This virtual workshop will help build the necessary skills to kickstart informal, ‘small talk’ communication in networking situations with ease and confidence. Graduate students will learn how to start conversations and build rapport with potential colleagues and collaborators. The workshop also covers strategies for turning small talk into meaningful connections and following up after networking events. ?The workshop will include an opportunity to practice these skills and encourage participants to reflect on their strengths and possibilities for further professional development.
