Grad Career Summit: "Small Talk – Breaking the Ice" Featuring Jeff Nevers, Roux Institute

• The Grad Career Summit programs are focused on the career development needs of graduate students. If you are a graduate student, review and register for these targeted sessions beginning on 10.26.21 through the week ending 10.29.21.  
• Have you wondered what “small talk” is and how to use it appropriately? Small talk can be used in a variety of settings, from an uber ride, to working out at the gym, to an entry into a professional conversation. Did you know that small talk may be used at the beginning of a professional conversation at a virtual career fair, for example, with an employer you are interested in.
• Attend this session and learn the “ins and outs” of small talk, as well as gain actual experience through practice.
