Almost everyone is nervous going into an interview, and that is ok. Employers expect it, so take a breath, acknowledge it to yourself, and continue the conversation.
This hands-on workshop is an opportunity to practice answering some of the questions most candidates find challenging, such as “Tell me about yourself” (Don’t worry, most employers don’t want your whole life story unless it is somehow relevant to the position); “Why should I hire you?” or “Why are you the best candidate for this position?” (No, you don’t have to evaluate every other candidate to answer this. You do have to be able to clearly connect yourself, your education and experience to the requirements of the position).
Bring a job description and one or two of the most challenging questions and practice responding confidently.
