Do you have a business idea? Would you like to experience the exhilaration of working with a team to develop a business idea? Summits are fun, fast-paced 48 hour weekend events where you’ll experience building a startup team and racing to develop a business, all with the support of experts, colleagues, and good food!
The second Maine Start Summit of2022 will take place at the Roux Institute in Portland, ME, where participants will develop business ideas in Blue Tech, which includes a broad spectrum of industries and innovative technologies focused on promoting sustainable ocean activities or participants can take the Unchartered Path (general), developing a business idea in a sector of your choice. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams for both of the Summit tracks (Blue Tech and Uncharted Path).
Over the course of three days, participants will form teams, develop a unique idea, and learn how to build and pitch a successful business.
