Massachusetts General Hospital’s Clinical & Translational Research Unit Biomarker Core Connect Event

The Clinical & Translational Research Unit (CTRU) is seeking to hire a highly motivated and organized self-starter with excellent people skills to work with our rapidly expanding biorepository. Work will be focused on collecting and processing biofluids, maintaining samples and freezers, assisting clinical staff obtaining samples from research participants and clinical trials, and performing immunoassays under the supervision of the CTRU Research Scientist responsible for the biorepository. This is an entry level position suitable for a recent graduate, who wants to get broad exposure to translational and clinical research or who wants a career in biobanking or laboratory management.
The CTRU is also seeking to hire a highly motivated and organized self-starter with excellent people skills to work with evaluation of novel biomarkers in samples from Alzheimer’s Disease and other neurodegenerative disorders within our expanding biomarker core. The role will involve evaluating and performing a variety of immunobiochemically based biomarker assays both manually and on automated equipment in a range of research projects including translational studies, clinical trials, and as a core service.
