IntroductionThe RJ Technology & Services team is a leading technology and services practice for middle market clients. We closed 50+ advisory deals in 2020 and continue to grow in the FinTech, Application Software, Information Services, IT Services & Outsourced Solutions and Infrastructure sectors.
Play an integral role on the Technology & Services Investment Banking team by providing quantitative and analytical support on live deal execution and business development efforts. You will be given a high level of responsibility and have an opportunity to contribute and generate original ideas while working both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects with significant scope and impact. We are seeking individuals who excel at balancing multiple workstreams to support M&A transactions and business development efforts in a fast-paced, highly demanding work environment.
Qualifications for Investment Banking Co-op
Currently enrolled at Northeastern seeking final co-op. If this is not your final co-op ahead of graduation you will not be considered for this role.
Must be eligible to work in the US without visa and / or sponsorship requirements of any kind.
Knowledgeable in the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Investment Banking
Demonstrate a strong personal and work ethic – dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude and work well with people of all backgrounds
Highly motivated, self-starter with a proactive approach to all workstreams and strong problem solving skills
Possess strong quantitative / analytical skills and able to assist with all aspects of M&A transactions including producing tailored pitch materials, drafting and editing marketing materials and taking a lead role in financial modeling
Demonstrate flexibility and an ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple detailed tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and excel in producing high quality deliverables in a time-sensitive environment
Effective communicator internally and externally; professional and confident in both verbal and written communication
Experience working in PowerPoint and Excel
